05.13.2013

Design for TVH Entelechy Residences inspired by traditional Madras textile pattern.

Designed as an urban retreat, this luxury residential project for True Value Homes (TVH) consists of approximately 108 residential units in four buildings. Units range in size from 4,000 to 6,000 square feet (400 - 600 sm). The open floor plans, many with individual lap pools, will offer spectacular views of lush Chennai, the Adyar River and the Madras Boat Club. Dedicated elevators to the individual residences add to the exclusivity. The buildings are connected together by sky bridges that afford the residents spectacular views along with fitness, spa, and entertaining amenities. Once completed, TVH Entelechy Residences will set the benchmark for exclusive club living.

The architects were inspired by the famous and colorful Madras woven textile pattern in the creation of the tower facades. The four luxury residential towers use color variation and pattern in the contemporary glass facades to distinguish each tower. Individually operated sun/privacy screens provide owners the ability to personalize their units, while adding a kinetic quality to the facades.
