At a gala for the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 2018 Best of Atlanta Real Estate awards on Thursday evening, John Portman & Associates’ Anthem Technology Center was mentioned within the wins.
From the article, “Best in Real Estate: Anthem deal proves Midtown’s tech muscle”, Anthem’s build-to-suit agreement with Portman Holdings for approximately 352,000 square feet in a 21-story custom-built office building is the Office Deal of the Year in Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Best in Atlanta Real Estate Awards.
The 21-story, state-of-the-art, build-to-suit office tower, Anthem Technology Center, will be a hub for approximately 3,000 multi-disciplinary IT professionals. The design of Anthem Technology Center is intended to complement that of Coda, Anthem’s next door neighbor, which JPA has also designed. The design also reflects Anthem’s desire for space that supports a progressive and collaborative work style.
Anthem Technology Center joins two other buildings designed by John Portman & Associates, Coda at Tech Square and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Hotel, both of which received an award for Best in Real Estate in 2017.
