The Atlanta Apparel Mart, a component of AMERICASMART^®-ATLANTA, was a response to the apparel industrys need for showroom space. Accordingly, a 1.5-million square foot (140,000 sm) showroom building was constructed, with a fan-shaped atrium and large spaces for fashion shows and seating areas. The original architecture and structural design allowed for future vertical expansion, and the Apparel Mart is now double the size of the original building.
